Hotel K Pet Sitting - Madison, WI
Dog Walks, Cat Sitting Visits and Live-In House Sitting.
Our Story
The Hotel K story started in 2007 when Jimmy & Leona Killerlain bought their first house on Madison's Northside. Friends and family frequently asked if they could dog sit while away, and over the next few years, word of mouth spread. Their home quickly became known as "Hotel K"—where all dogs got Free Belly Rubs!
As requests grew for cat sitting and live-in house sitting, Jimmy K saw a genuine need across the Madison Area for local, professional pet sitting. In 2016, Hotel K LLC was officially established with a simple, lasting promise: Free Belly Rubs and to deliver the best pet sitting experience possible.
In the summer of 2026, we launched our community crowdfunding campaign, the Belly Rub Reset, reinvesting directly into our operations and the future of our care. Today, that dedication continues as Hotel K Pet Sitting transitions to a direct W-2 employee team model beginning January 2027—delivering bonded accountability, rigorous standards, and consistent, trusted sitters in your home.
