Jimmy K and Leona are great people. Animals always put a smile on my face! A schedule that works around taking care of my family!
Dogs- 6, Cats - 5, Birds- 3, Fish- Lots!
Rodents- 2 ferrets, 2 white rats, a few gerbils and mice. There was also a squirrel that I attempted to tame when I was a child. I named her Gadget after the Rescue Rangers cartoon character!
Farm & Barn- Rabbits, 2 horses of my own. A haflinger and an appendix quarter horse. Also, multiple other horses that I had the opportunity to work with.
Most odd, exotic or weird pet – Maybe the ferrets? A friend of mine had a sugar glider, that was a cool experience! My appendix quarter horse was a bit of a rehab case. He was not very well taken care of and I had to really gain his trust to get his training accomplished. He was also underweight and any muscle tone he had was in all the wrong places. He was ewe necked and needed chiropractic work . Once we had him feeling better he turned into quite the athlete. He went from a weak and sore basket case to a very capable Pony Club eventing horse!
I am a drummer, an artist, a gardener, a wife and mother.
I played drums in a band that played around Madison.
I grow and sell flowers in the summer.
I enjoy exercise, I will go for a run with the dog if it will better wear them out!
I currently have a puppy, she is a German short hair Lab mix. She is learning a lot about how to be a good citizen and refining the basics. I am willing to help with training questions. I am not a professional trainer but I do have a lot of experience with animals and resources to gain insight from.
I am the mother of 2 wonderful and crazy kids.
I always try to see the positive in things.
I never give up!
